This year’s garden is doing much better than our previous attempts in other years, so that’s keeping me busier than normal. I’m also trying to get more work done in my various genealogy sites, including photographing some of the local cemeteries to catalog them. Ultimately, I would like to photograph and document all of the local cemeteries as part of a permanent record for historians. Quite an undertaking - no pun intended!

An ongoing project around here is to organize all of the family documents and photos that have accumulated here over the year. My poor scanner gets quite a workout as these old artifacts get scanned and saved to my external hardrive. Ultimately, I will archive much of the information onto CDs as well in the hopes of preserving it for the future.
